Summary of the project

This project focuses on creating a digital platform to: - Enhance the visitor experience: guests will discover local tourism attractions, cultural events, and information about the UNESCO territory. They'll also find recommendations for sustainable transportation (Ebikes) and eco-friendly practices. - Promote local businesses: the platform will highlight locally sourced gastronomy catering to diverse dietary needs and preferences, and showcase new destinations for experiential tourism. - Foster community integration: the multilingual Progressive Web App (PWA) will be accessible on smartphones during a visitor's stay, fostering a connection with the local community. Expected outcomes include: - Increased business competitiveness: by promoting unique offerings and the UNESCO territory. - Stronger community ties: encouraging interaction and supporting local businesses. - Improved accessibility: the platform is being designed to be inclusive for people with varying physical abilities (future implementation). Project development considers three key areas: - Digitalization: empowering Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to leverage new technologies. - Environmental sustainability: promoting eco-friendly practices and sustainable mobility options. - Social responsibility: enhancing accessibility and fostering community engagement. Overall, the project aims to bridge the gap between MSMEs and new technologies, while promoting sustainable practices and community connection.
